Another recipe I found in my mom’s collection.
Whenever my mother found a good recipe, she would write a little note in the margins for whoever she wanted to make it for. On this one (that yellowed because it was so old), she wrote “For Silv.” I LOOOOVED rocky road when I was younger. Rocky road ANYTHING – ice cream, cookie, brownie, fudge, anything with chocolate and marshmallows. NO wonder I’d make Smores no matter what the season. As I became older, and my health fiend kicked in, I went from deep chocolate to fruit flavors, especially strawberry.
I think my mother made this dessert once or twice. I remember having to bring in a dish for school, and this was it!
